OUS 2026 Abstract Submission information for residents, fellows and medical students2026 Ohio Urological Society Annual MeetingMarch 27-28, 2026 in Cleveland, OH at the Westing Cleveland DowntownAt this time, we would like to encourage Ohio Urology residents, fellows and medical students to submit an abstract to this meeting as it is our goal to have all Ohio institutions represented. Abstracts can be submitted now by emailing a Word documentversion to [email protected]. The deadline for submission is Sunday, January 11, 2026.Submissions must not exceed a maximum of 350 words (not including title, author, or disclosures). A single figure may be included. To increase the diversity of topics presented, as well as allow for sufficient time for each presentation, all submitted abstracts will be reviewed by a designated committee. There will again be Moderated Poster Presentations on Friday evening; the top three abstracts will be presented as podium presentations on Saturday morning. Those whose abstracts are accepted for presentation must be available in-person to present their abstract (no substitute presenters will be allowed). Submitters will be contacted by early February 2026. We are requesting for the submission of abstracts involving ANY urologic topic of interest (i.e. Oncology, Minimally Invasive Surgery, Endourology/Stone Diseases, Andrology/Infertility, Reconstruction/Trauma, Transplant, Female Urology, Pediatric Urology, Benign/General Urology, or Other), and these may include clinical/translational/basic science studies or case series. We will have a “Chief Residents Debate” on Saturday, March 28th. We are requesting that all programs send their chief resident to compete in this exciting debate. In addition, we are accepting cases for the “Interesting and Bizarre Cases” session. All submitted cases will be reviewed by a designated committee who will select the cases to be presented for review during these sessions. Monetary prizes will be given for the Top Abstracts, Best Poster, and Best Interesting and Bizarre Case accepted. Submitters must be present at the Award Ceremony on Saturday afternoon in order to claim their award (no exceptions). As a reminder, we will once again be offering the Resident Registration Package which includes complimentary meeting registration, tickets to the Welcome Reception and Friday night’s room and tax to all residents. In addition, there will be monetary awards selected from those residents who have a submission accepted for Podium Presentations. While we have opened the submission process to include fellows and medical students, only residents will be eligible for the Resident Package and monetary awards. See you in Cleveland!
